Goomba’s Pizzeria in Cape Coral is absolutely amazing! I had a large New York-style meat pizza along with the garlic knots, and everything was incredible. The pizza was hot, fresh, loaded with meat, and had that perfect New York-style crust. The garlic knots were outstanding too. Easily one of the best pizza spots in Cape Coral. I’ll definitely be back!

Had the 18" pie with onions. Got it 1/2 done and would heat it when I got to my home in Gateway. Everything I heard about the pizza was spot on. Sauce is excellent. After putting it in the oven, still tasted amazing. Crust was crispy, cheese melted to perfection. They answered any questions I had, very pleasant. Will definitely be back. Oh. Take out only. Tonight (8/30/26) I had the steak sandwich with fried onions, bell pepper and red sauce. An ordervslso comescwith fries and pickle. What a GREAT sandwich. I thought I was back home in Philadelphia. Sandwich was packed onto and in the roll. Thank you for allowing me to share this review.

From Savannah GA on vacation and luckily someone recommended this place and I am so glad they did. We had a classic pepperoni and the goombah pie minus the hot honey and OMG Y'ALL!!! This was the perfect pizza crisp but not over done you can taste the love in the fresh made sauce and meats and it was perfectly garnished as well. Makes me sad that we have to go back home, hubby picked up and said the wings looked phenomenal so we will be back before we leave i promise!!

The Goombah himself took the time to explain the different sauces he makes, and you can tell right away that pizza is his passion. I brought my brother from Jersey, a true pizza connoisseur and pizzaiolo who has been making pizza since he was 16, both professionally and at home. His pizza journey has taken him through Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Hoboken, Weehawken, Jersey City, and just about every legendary Italian neighborhood in New York and New Jersey. Honorable mentions go to Elizabeth and Paterson, New Jersey. Over the years, he’s worked alongside some very big Italian names… the kind of names he can’t mention publicly. Let’s just say there are a few stories that are better told over an espresso than in a Google review. 😉 His pizza resumé is simply too long to fit into a single review. We tried the Margherita and the Meat Lovers. According to my brother, this is the closest thing to authentic New York style pizza he’s found in Florida. The balance and chemistry of the sauce is mind blowing. The quality of the cheese stands out immediately, rich and flavorful without overpowering the pie. The meats on the Meat Lovers pizza were high quality and packed with flavor,

Hands down The Goombah pizzeria is the absolute best and most delicious pizza around! And not just in Cape Coral but period! Trying this place is a no-brainer. I recommend calling in your order early as they get busy. Any of their New Haven pizzas are magical (as well as the other styles). The Fredo is one of my favorites! Also love their Goombah sauce! I totally recommend checking this place out - good people and great food!
